What is Regnum Christi?
Regnum Christi (Latin for the Kingdom of Christ) is a group or movement within the Catholic Church which helps people to live their faith more deeply and to get involved in works of service which can bring them closer to Our Lord.
Regnum Christi shares the spirituality of the Legionaries of Christ, a religious congregation of priests and men preparing for the priesthood. The Regnum Christi family includes consecrated members, laypeople, diocesan priests, and permanent deacons, and numbers about 30,000 people worldwide.
Our ministries involve a wide range of services, educational programs and institutions, and activities that help people develop their Catholic faith and God-given talents. Our initiatives aim to bring the light of Christ to souls.

Fr. Michael Sliney, LC, Discovers Lebanon’s Living Faith Along Darb Mar Charbel
Lebanese Americans and local priest make history on new holy hiking path
Fr. Michael Sliney, LC, traveled to Lebanon expecting a pilgrimage—but encountered something much deeper: a living faith woven into the land, its people, and its saints.
Walking through the Qadisha Valley and along Darb Mar Charbel, he experienced the silence of ancient monasteries, visited places that shaped Saint Sharbel’s vocation, and discovered what he describes as one of the most powerful spiritual journeys of his life.
Discover why this pilgrimage left such a lasting impression—and why Fr. Sliney believes Darb Mar Charbel is a journey more people need to experience.
Vigilant Hearts with Fr. Michael Sliney – August 17, 2026 – Fr. Michael Sliney talks about his recent pilgrimage to St. Charbel’s trail in Lebanon.
