Who we are

We are men who, in response to God’s call, dedicate our entire lives to the service of the Church as lay consecrated men in Regnum Christi. We are sent to live and spread the good news of being apostles in the social and professional world. With our personal gifts and professional talents, we reach out to others and, together with them, we seek to make present the Kingdom of Christ in society.

We make the mission, experience, and charism of Regnum Christi our own, sharing it in all that we do.

Lay consecrated men dedicate their entire lives and strengths to Christ and remain fully available for the mission of the Church in Regnum Christi, embracing the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
We live in community, integrating prayer and action with a strong desire to transform the world for Christ through tireless and unconditional apostolic work.
We form ourselves personally and professionally to delve into the temporal affairs in order to transform them with the Gospel message.
By identifying with Christ as one of his people and being close to their brothers and sisters, we feel called to develop a genuine sense of closeness to each person in their ordinary circumstances.

Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi in the DC Locality.

We reside in Northern Virginia and put our professional talents to work at Divine Mercy University in Sterling, Virginia. We also serve in various parish and high school ministries within the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia, putting our time and talent at the service of the Church where we live.

Lay Consecrated Man of Regnum Christi.

The personal experience of Christ's love ignites in the heart an inner urgency to passionately dedicate oneself to making His Kingdom present.

Without excluding any type of apostolate, we orient our apostolic activity primarily towards:

Helping each person to put their talents at the service of the Kingdom of God.

Promoting the growth, consolidation, and development of Regnum Christi and its apostolates.

Creating evangelizing works and networks in various professional or social environments.

Forming true teachers of the faith.

Engaging in temporal affairs to bring the good news of the Gospel to people and society.

Actively collaborating with the local Church.

Promoting initiatives that support the economy of Regnum Christi.

Regnum Christi includes Legion of Christ priests, consecrated women, lay consecrated men, lay members, seminarians, and diocesan priests. We strive to be witnesses to Christ, living our spirituality and mission as the Holy Spirit intended with joy, humility, zeal, and passion for Jesus Christ.
